Ovens
NOTE: Images are typical and don't reflect actual ones where you live.
I suggest a daily cleaning after use and a periodic deep cleaning of your oven. Doing this will ensure a lasting and dependable operation of the appliance.
ELECTRIC OVENS
CAUTION: When handling electric ovens EXSERICE the following precautions - turn all burners OFF and open circuit breaker.

If have any kind of liquid spill while burners are on / cooking, immediately turn off ALL burners and open circuit breaker. Wait till burner(s) are cooled off, remove affected burner(s) clean and dry burner(s) prior to re-installation. Ensure burner socket is also dry - DO NOT operate burner(s) if any kind of moisture is still present. Liquids and electricity don't mix and can cause a burning short (sparks) plus possibly trip the circuit breaker, cause a fire, and/or further damage to oven. When re-installing burner(s), open the top oven lid and make sure burner(s) are properly connected to its' socket. Close circuit breaker and test burner(s) for operation. If burner(s) short out, then it is likely that such is damaged and will not work. You can buy burners at Lowe's or Home Depot, this and any other damage(s) to the oven, are your responsibility and at your cost.

USE CAUTION WHEN HANDLING NATRUAL GAS APPLICANCES
To care for a gas oven, clean spills immediately with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water, and establish a daily, weekly, and monthly routine: wipe down daily after cooling, scrub grates and the surface weekly, and perform a deep clean monthly by taking off parts. Always ensure the oven is off and cool before cleaning, remove racks and burner caps to clean them thoroughly, and check burner ports for clogs with a pipe cleaner. Regularly inspect and clean the oven door gasket to maintain efficiency.
