What our TV show will try to accomplish:

We'd like to opportunity to help you understand the basics of the Spanish language. Along with this we'll introduce you to the daily use of the language in many scenarios. We invite you to join us and give us some feedback about our show. Your comments will be greatly appreciated.  As our show grows, we'd like to have some type of interaction with some of our viewers, perhaps as show guest to show off your Spanish skills.

Let's Get Started:

One of the basic skills you'll need to learn is to say the Spanish alphabet. Since over 98% of the words are phonetic to the way most letters sound, this will make it easier to understand and pronounce. Please pronounce the letter the way it's written in parenthesis ( ); for the /e/ pronounce the "e" as it is used in the word "B E T" all other sounds in ( ) use the English pronunciation.

A (ah), B (b/e/), C (s/e/), D (d/e/), E (/e/), F (/e/f/e/),

G (H/e/), H (ahch/e/), I (ee), J (ho-tah), K (K-ah), L (/e/l/e/),

M (/e/m/e/), N (/e/n/e/), O (oh), P (p/e/), Q (koo), R (/e/r/e/),

S (/e/s/e/), T (t/e/),  U (oo), V (v/e/), W (d-oh-bl/e/ v/e/),

X (/e/keys), Y (/eh/y/e/),
aka: e griega - greek e
Z (s/e/t-ah)

Special letters to keep in mind which are widely used in the Spanish language:

CH (ch/eh), LL (/e/y/e/),   Ñ (/e/ny/e/) pronounce it like the first N in onion,
RR (
/e/rr/e/) roll the R

Please Keep in mind that in Spanish the letter "H" in the beginning of a word is silent.
